The Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Manor in Sörmland.
The Barksätter property, located next to lake Bjälken in Sörmland, was donated in 1983 to the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry by Mary Francke Gustafson.
The property comprises 640 hectares, which are managed according to the wishes of the donor. This means that it is preserved to its current extent to enable research in agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry.
This writing is about this property and its history. The Academy’s hope is that it will arouse the visitor’s interest in the farm and the surrounding landscape.
