In this digital lunch talk Heidi Tuhkanen, Senior Expert at the Stockholm Environment Institute, will discuss the evaluation of the social impacts of Nature-based Solutions (NbS).
Heidi Tuhkanen will begin the seminar with an introduction to Nature-based Solutions and their multifunctionality, highlighting not only their role in climate adaptation but also their broader impacts on society. Heidi will present initial results from the evaluation of social impacts in the Biodiversa+ funded NbSPlus project’s global case studies in Malmö. SE and North River area near Montreal, Canada.
Heidi Tuhkanen will be joined by KSLA fellow and Professor Thomas B. Randrup at SLU for a conversation and discussion of NbS in contemporary planning and management.
