Polish agriculture – an update on the present state and a glimpse into the future

The agricultural section at KSLA is planning an excursion to Poland in September. The purpose is to learn more about the expansive Polish food production, including its present state, as well as to getting a glimpse of the sector’s future challenges. The excursion will contain a mix of visits to organizations in the food chain such as financing institutes, advisory services, governmental bodies, industry and farms.

The group that travels will have a maximum of 25 participants. First come, first served.

During the trip we will take a joint responsibility for the documentation. Each participant will write a summary report and back in Stockholm we will arrange a seminar where we can share our insights.

The excursion is open to all fellows of the Academy, international as well as Swedish.

Time: Wednesday 18–Friday 20 September 2019, stay over the weekend is optional.

Fee: approx. EUR 300–350. The fee includes two nights in a single bed room. Travel to Gdansk is not included in the fee.
