Vagn J. Brøndegaard (1919–2014) ägnade hela sitt liv åt att dokumentera och systematisera folklig kunskap om växters användning och föreställningar om dem. I detta bokverk samlas 80 av Brøndegaards uppsatser om alla möjliga aspekter på växter.
A summary of the discussions at an international conference on forests and the climate in March 2018. The aim was to facilitate dialogue among experts representing different views related to forest management and climate change mitigation, to help advance scientific understanding, and to identify knowledge gaps and priorities for future research and data collection.
The ’Academy Blue Book’ describes global fisheries and aquaculture from the points of view of sustainable ecosystems, economy, trade and development. The main objective is to provide an overview of fisheries and aquaculture, their natural conditions and their significance for economic development and people’s livelihoods. A further objective is to show the impact of rich countries on the developing world within this sector through trade, aid and global fisheries.
