The path to sustainable natural resources management lies along the “E5”. This virtual path to the future meets all our wishes in respect of farmers and businesspeople who view animals and nature – and consumers – with considerable Empathy and who cultivate the soil or raise livestock using Ecologically sound and Ethically defensible methods that offer major Esthetic values and provide favorable Economic results.

Fisheries, sustainability and development

The ’Academy Blue Book’ describes global fisheries and aquaculture from the points of view of sustainable ecosystems, economy, trade and development. The main objective is to provide an overview of fisheries and aquaculture, their natural conditions and their significance for economic development and people’s livelihoods. A further objective is to show the impact of rich countries on the developing world within this sector through trade, aid and global fisheries.
