This policy document for KSLA was adopted by the Academy Collegium on 1 December 2020.
President Jan Fryk and Vice President Lena Ingvarsson stand behind this document, which was adopted by the Academy Collegium on December 1, 2020. It is intended to provide a framework for the concrete content of the Academy’s activities, which is formulated annually based on the initiatives taken in our sections and their committees.
The starting point has been more important happenings and developments, at a global, regional, and local level, which are thought to be of relevance to conditions relating to the green industries, and thus also to KSLA and its activities, during the period 2021–2024.

This is a report from the “Climate and the Forest Committee”, appointed by the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (KSLA) to promote the interest of climate change issues among scientists and forest managers. The committee identified a need for a comprehensive literature review as a starting point for their work, culminating in this report.
