Dear Academician Iaroslav Gadzalo,
On behalf of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry we are devestated over the situation in Ukraine and are expressing our full support and solidarity to the people in the country including the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. We deeply support the initiative from the Agricultural Research-Development Station Braila, which has offered to provide not only accommodation, but also jobs and food etc.
We also warmly support the offer from the management of the Vegetal Genetic Resources Bank ”Mihai Cristea” Suceava for moving the genetic material to Suceava from the Kharkov Gene Bank, Ukraine, in order to secure it during the military conflict.
